🆃🅷🅴 🅸🅽🅽🅴🆁 🅲🅸🆁🅲🅻🅴: Merch, Swag & Stickers

An indie author support network

Hey guys!

Today I figured we would tackle merch, swag and stickers since I always get so many

questions on my custom sticker for my newest series, Awful Curse.

Merch is probably one of the hardest things to master besides ads. Instead of paying for courses because let's face it most of us are just starting out or brand new and don't have the kind of funds to invest in our business like that yet. Hell, it took 6 months for me to even see consistent sales with and without ads.

Don't get me wrong I would still publish regardless of the money. This is a true love unlike any other but it does take money to even indie publish.

There are tons of ways to get merch:

Retailers (Etsy, Wick Wish Candle Co. does custom scents for me - literally for every release.)

Graphic Designers (Ashes & Vellichor is my girl but I will admit to the world she is so busy she forgets to consume water. Musings of the Modern Belle does custom merch and just posted she has availability coming up in the next few months. She does LJ, Charleigh Rose, Amo Jones, etc.)

Third party host sites (TeeSpring, TeePublic, Sticker Mule, Sticker App, etc.)

These are all great options for merch, swag, stickers but that's the thing with buying anything online... you need to order a sample. I can't stress this enough. You will see quality, size, printing issues that can occur and really give your readers the best quality without breaking your bank.

I got my sticker from the Sticker App (see the specifics below)

Matte

15 stickers for $22 ($1.47/each) 3.4x4 [see the photo for a size references] Die-Cut

My clothing samples are on its way so I will keep everyone posted about that!

That is the other side of merch, swag and stickers is having someone (or yourself) who is comfortable making graphics for your merch. The size and quality is KEY to it printing right! Every piece of swag is different when it comes to printing.

Share your merch and how you got it.

Share your experiences.

Share what down falls you've had so we can all learn from it.
